Job Title: MI Analyst

Locations: Chesterfield/ hybrid working

Role Overview

The MI Analyst is responsible for supporting the business with BI/MI reporting needs, delivering accurate and timely information across all organisational levels. The role encompasses end-to-end BI development, stakeholder engagement, data validation, and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with business stakeholders and technical business analysts to define BI/MI requirements.
• Develop sophisticated, well-performing reports and dashboards using SQL, SSRS/SSIS, Power BI, and Excel.
• Execute thorough unit testing, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Manage report and data security following established governance procedures.
• Analyse data using T-SQL, Power BI, and Excel to identify insights and data quality issues.
• Assist with internal MI/BI system recovery processes and job failure responses
• Deliver results within a multi-task work environment.
• Provide technical training to report users.
• To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by their line manager.
