Markerstudy Insurance is undergoing an exciting period of change and transformation, and we’re looking for an experienced Planview/Change Portfolio Tooling expert to take ownership of our portfolio management tooling capabilities.

This is a key role within our Group Change function, focused on the ongoing development, optimisation and adoption of Planview across the business. The first release of Planview has already gone live, and we are now preparing for the second release - so we’re looking for someone who understands the system from the back end and can help shape how it is configured, improved and embedded.

What we’re looking for:

Someone with strong hands-on experience in Planview system administration, configuration or product ownership, combined with a background in PMO, Change Portfolio Management or Project Portfolio Management.

Planview is the key requirement for this role. You’ll need to understand the back end of the system and have experience supporting a roll-out, release, implementation or optimisation of the tool.

However, this is not a purely technical systems role. You’ll also need to understand how a Change Portfolio operates, including governance, prioritisation, reporting, resource and capacity planning, financial tracking, RAID, dependencies and senior stakeholder insight.

Key experience required

• Strong hands-on Planview experience, ideally including system administration or back-end configuration
• Experience supporting a Planview roll-out, release, implementation or optimisation
• PMO, Change Portfolio or Project Portfolio Management experience
• Understanding of portfolio governance, prioritisation, reporting and delivery oversight
• Experience supporting resource and capacity planning through PPM tooling
• Experience with financial tracking, forecasting, RAID, dependencies and portfolio data quality
• Ability to act as the functional SME, Product Owner or tooling lead for Planview
• Experience building or shaping Planview roadmaps and system improvements
• Power BI dashboard experience
• Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and improve adoption
• Comfortable working remotely with occasional travel to Manchester or Peterborough
