MI Developer
Reports to: Associate Director Service Delivery
Hybrid to any Markerstudy office (including Manchester, Peterborough, Stoke, Stockport, Portsmouth, Bristol, Sunderland, Haywards Heath, Tunbridge Wells and more)

The Role
Reporting to the Associate Director of Service Delivery, the MI Developer will play a key role in delivering high-quality management information and data insight for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
You will work closely with the business to understand reporting requirements, build scalable dashboards and reports, and ensure data is translated into clear, actionable intelligence that helps teams monitor performance and make informed decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and developing high-quality reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL
- Working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver new reporting solutions
- Analysing complex datasets and transforming them into clear management information and insights
- Producing monthly KPI and KRI reporting in line with contractual and business requirements
- Performing data analysis using SQL, Power BI and Databricks
- Identifying data quality issues and developing exception reporting to support data governance
- Supporting the organisation’s move toward a self-service MI environment, including providing guidance and training to users
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and data efficiency
- Ensuring all reporting aligns with regulatory, compliance, information security and FCA requirements
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and Databricks
- Proven ability to develop dashboards, reports and data visualisations for business users
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple reporting requests in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insight
- Experience working directly with stakeholders to define reporting requirements
