Location: Home-based (with occasional travel to company offices as required)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Van Trading Analyst to support the strategic and commercial performance of our Van product. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Van Trading to analyse data, identify opportunities for growth, and drive improvements in revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Van Trading in developing and executing trading strategies to optimise revenue and profitability
• Analyse large volumes of trading and performance data to identify trends, insights, and commercial opportunities
• Collaborate with pricing, insurer relations, and distribution teams to align trading insights with wider business priorities
• Work closely with the MI team to improve and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that track KPIs and trading performance
• Analyse and maintain the trading footprint to ensure maximum return on commercial initiatives
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario-modelling activities
• Proactively identify opportunities within trading data to grow the book and enhance profitability
• Monitor competitor behaviour and market trends to support tactical decision-making
• Liaise frequently with key stakeholders across Pricing, Insurer Relations, Operations, and Finance
• Support the Head of Van Trading across the full breadth of product management activities

Key Skills & Experience

• MUST have UK financial services experience
• Understanding of FCA regulations, including GIPP reforms and Consumer Duty requirements
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for data and commercial insight
• Proficient in Excel and data-visualisation tools such as Power BI
• Comfortable working with large datasets and complex information
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Experience in trading, insurance, or financial services is highly desirable
• Self-starter with a curious mindset and a desire to create meaningful impact
