The Role

As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting month-end reporting and ensuring the integrity of financial information across the Group.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the month-end close process, including preparing, posting and reviewing journals
Completing balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation and timely resolution of items
Providing detailed analysis and explanations of balance sheet movements
Supporting internal and external audit processes, including statutory reporting and backing schedules
Contributing to improvements in financial controls, governance, and reporting processes
Supporting finance projects, including initiatives to streamline and improve month-end timelines
Working closely with wider Finance teams (Controllership and FP&A) to deliver business objectives
Coaching and supporting an Assistant Management Accountant

What We’re Looking For

Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or AAT qualified
Experience in a management accounting or financial reporting environment
Strong Excel skills (Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable)
Good understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
A proactive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills
